Kevin Wolz

Kevin Wolz, is the CEO of Canopy Farm Management (USA) and a lead scientist at the Savanna Institute, combining expertise in biology, agroecology, and engineering. With a background in biogeochemical cycling, ecological monitoring, biophysical modeling, and economic analyses, Kevin leads efforts to expand agroforestry services across the Midwest through Canopy, a venture initiated by the Savanna Institute and Grantham Environmental Trust. Beyond his executive roles, he actively engages in agroforestry on his two farms in Champaign County, IL, fostering innovation and hands-on learning in sustainable land management.

Martin Lukáč

Professor at University of reading (UK), and coordinating REFOREST project, Martin teaches Environmental Management and focuses on agroforestry as a sustainable land management system that merges agriculture with forestry to enhance ecosystem services. His research explores how agroforestry can increase system stability, improve soil biodiversity, and optimize resource use, thereby providing solutions to climate change challenges.

Philippe Loudjani

Philippe is a scientific Project Officer at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission. With a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Ecology from Paris-Orsay University, he joined the JRC in 2000 and has since focused on crop yield modeling and forecasting. Skilled in remote sensing imagery across agricultural and environmental sectors, contributes to diverse projects including crop yield forecasts, illegal dumping site identification, and environmental impact assessments of mining activities. Camile excels in orchestrating complex agroforestry design operations that demand a participatory approach, integrating the expertise of various stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.
