Main activities to date

The UK Living Lab met on 27 February 2025 at RSPB Hope Farm (Cambridgeshire) during a workshop on agroforestry financial tools. Organised by Cranfield University, the session included demonstrations of the Farm-SAFE and INTACT tools, and a farm visit showcasing a recently established silvoarable system. Participants from the UK, Czechia, Italy and the REFOREST project joined to exchange feedback and explore synergies.

Next steps and exploitation focus

  • Exploring the adaptation and localisation of the INTACT tool for UK practitioners.
  • Continuing collaboration with REFOREST and other EU partners on financial modelling
  • Collecting feedback from stakeholders at Hope Farm and other UK case sites to guide final improvements of tools.
  • Preparing training sessions and dissemination material tailored to UK conditions, especially regarding biodiversity, cost-benefit analysis, and silvoarable practices
