EURAF Policy Briefing 17: ENVI amendments fatally weaken the LULUCF Regulation

7 June 2022 The European Agroforestry Federation (EURAF) asks MEPs to vote against Amendments 23 and 54 (from COM ENVI) in plenary session on the revised LULUCF Regulation (7-8/6/22).  They remove the crucial commitment to carbon neutrality in the integrated “Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use” (AFOLU) pillar by 2035, and ignore IPCC guidelines from almost 20 years ago.
